A multiple use project space located in Dublin's city centre.
Commonplace Projects is a multiple use project space located in Dublin's city centre. CPP allows artists time and space to articulate interests that go beyond notions of amateurism and productive behaviour. Founded by artist Sally Timmons, the organisation has three areas of programming, including a city centre meeting and workspace, regular workshops and projects.
With the support of Dublin City Council Arts Office, Timmons has commissioned artists' editions since September 2007 and the project space [see News page on this site] has been host also to a number of screenings, workshops and open days including the 10x10x10 workshops organised by Blackletter, VISIT open studios and Lean-To.
Artists, curators and cultural organisers visiting Dublin are encouraged to use CPP as a base for meetings or projects.
Please contact CPP for information about booking the space for once off/short term events, meetings or workshops.
